Connie, My heart aches for you and especially your Nic. He is one good fighter with a whole bunch of prayers headed in his direction. This is hard on all of you. We are here for you any time, day or night. Kind of weird but my computer wouldn't do the N's then no space bar a couple of days ago. Tom told me to just type words without any n's. Thank you Annette, you are always so wonderful. I appreciate the good thoughts and kind words. Nic is so important to me and all my family. I still haven't heard anymore about my laptop computer. This afternoon they said it still wasn't working. I will check in again  tomorrow. That is wierd that your  "n" wasn't working either. That is  really strange that we both had the same key problems. Good morning to my lovely OFF family.  The sun is out this morning. Notice I didn't say that it was warm and sunny~just sunny. I think it is going to take a few more days before warm comes back into our weatherman's vocabulary. lol I have to go to the Opthalmologist's this morning. I have to go see him every 3 months because of the daibetic retinopathy. I think it seems to be getting better since I see better and can read easier too.  Today is going to be just a do what comes along kind of day. Nothing is planned. I would like to catch up on some reading though. I wanted to yesterday but didn't have a chance. The phone kept ringing and of course Pogo.com and my Sweet Tooth 2 game kept calling my name also. When your favorite game calls a girl MUST answer!!!! lol Dinner was nice with Ella last night. I had 1/2 a chicken ceasar salad w/o the ceasar dressing. I had fat free ranch on the side and dipped the salad and chicken in it. I like doing it that way. I ate about half the salad but all the chicken. I was so full I couldn't beleive it. After dinner we went walking around Big Lots and I ended up spending $20. Got some cereal for me and for Bill and a new pair of houseslippers since mine was for winter and I hate them anyway. Now I have some slippers for winter and summer and I won't have to buy new ones for a million years. Most of the time I am barefoot anyway. lol I once had a pair of slippers that was so pathetic looking that Bill kept begging me to throw them out. I told him that I just got them broke in! One time I found a new pair by my bed and he had put the old ones in the garbage. Yep! I did just what you think I did~got them oout and washed them and kept on wearing them. Bill gave up! I guess I had better get going. I have a couple of things to do before I have to leave for the eye doctor. I am sending love and hugs to all along with the prayers. Special prayers are being said for those who need them.

************ HELLO HELLO ....... Not much going on in this household today. Mom has an appointment at the physical therapist's this morning. The Dr wants her gait checked. She has had a hip and knee replacement in the past. She has fallen but never hurt.... however, ..... After that the day is up for grabs. I have a few things I need to do, like to do, but don't seem to do..... hmmmm wonder why??? Our weather has been cool, overcast and somewhat rainy. Good Morning (errrr Good Afternoon) friends,   Just got back from PT. It went pretty well. Got on the exercise bike, at first I couldn't peddle all the way around, darn knees wouldn't cooperate. So he made the seat  a little higher, that helped some still hurt like the dickens though. After 5 minutes I noticed the knees weren't hurting quite as much and by the time I finished at 10 minutes they actually felt better. Who would'a thunk it! LOL He also took some of my measurements....really scary..  but I was very surprised I actually lost almost 3 inches in my waist and  2 & 1/2 " in my butt! Yippee!!! I'm going to celebrate by adding a little cheese to my salad. Then to the park this afternoon with the granddaughters.  have a great day. Paulette

Hi Lora and everyone: You're right, Lora, I haven't seen you online in a long time. There's a few others I've been missing her ... Joyce, in particular, where are you?  Well, you won't believe it, but I got my computer back today ... at least it's in my car now and will be back up hopefully tomorrow at home. It's been more than two months. We'll see how it all works. I can now burn DVDs as well as CDs (hopefully ... that's what computer geek told me).  I slept pretty well last night but boy, I really feel sleepy right now. Tried to nap this afternoon but got wrapped up watching the White Sox-Indians game (the Sox won, 6-5; kept expecting the Sox to blow it but they hung on). I think allergies are making me sleepy. I know I have a lot of gunk in my throat.  Not much else is new; I had to arrange a few payments on some past-due bills so that was done so my cable won't be cut off (so I have entertainment for a week). We have a late story coming in, hopefully not too late. Looks like we've got a lot to do. Anyway, guess I should get to work. Have a good evening.

Hi Lora, Nice to see you today posting and starting the thread..... Sorry about hubby having to have surgery. I have had a wow moment at work today. I got down on the floor to clean a shelf of product and was sitting on the floor in a tight dress no less. I had to get up and guess what????? I got up without a problem..... Now get this I dont get on the floor to much in a dress!!!!!!! Now that is a wow moment for me..... I went to Chicos and got a new pair of capris and gues what they were a whopping 6.00!!!!! I couldnt apss them up. They are a cute print. Not much else going on. Business is slow and it is getting hot down here in Florida. Carla
